Welcome to our cozy home away from home, where we believe good food lifts the spirits and brightens the day.
Growing up in Lebanon, I cherished the hours spent in the kitchen with my mother, preparing her meals for our family. Those times taught me how to cook food that was healthy, hearty, and full of flavor. They also filled our home with laughter, warmth, and love.
Later in life, after moving to the United States, I found myself traveling back to the Middle East to work alongside my American colleagues. We often dined at Lebanese restaurants, and I watched how much they loved the food and the warmth of the welcome. That experience stayed with me, and it inspired me to recreate that same feeling once I returned home.
In 2012, my family and I took a bold step and launched one of the first food trucks in Springfield, Missouri: That Lebanese Place. Our mission was simple, to serve healthy, flavorful meals while staying true to our family’s traditions. Before long we outgrew the truck, and we found our permanent home here on C-Street.
Our belief hasn’t changed since day one: good food, good mood.
We hope you savor your meal as much as we love preparing it for you.
— Elie, Owner
At That Lebanese Place, our mission is to share the authentic flavors and the generous spirit of Lebanon with our community.
Rooted in family tradition and made with care, every dish celebrates fresh ingredients, fragrant herbs, and recipes passed down through generations.
We believe food has the power to bring people together: to nourish, to comfort, and to create memories that last.
Whether you’re dining in, ordering to go, or sharing a meal with the people you love, we’re honored to bring a taste of Lebanon to your table. From our kitchen to your heart.
At That Lebanese Place, we don't just serve food. We share a piece of our heritage. Every meal is made fresh, seasoned with love, and inspired by the flavors of Lebanon. We take pride in a dining experience that's as authentic as it is welcoming, where every guest is treated like family.
